The situation
Four attorneys, a focused practice area, and a five-year-old website that hadn’t been touched since it launched. Potential clients searching “employment lawyer [city]” or “business litigation attorney near me” weren’t finding them. Larger firms with worse track records were getting the inquiry.
The challenge
Professional services firms compete on credibility and specificity. A potential client searching for an attorney by practice area and location has a specific problem and is ready to act. If a firm doesn’t appear in that search, it doesn’t get considered — regardless of how good the attorneys are.
For a boutique firm where a single new client relationship can run for years, every missed search inquiry is significant.
What we built
We built a new site on Webflow structured for practice-area and location queries. Each practice area got its own page, optimised for the specific language potential clients use when searching. Local SEO was built in from the start.
We also built AEO content — FAQ schema and answer-first pages that position the firm to be cited when someone asks an AI assistant for a recommendation in their category.
The result
The firm now ranks for its practice-area and location queries. When someone asks ChatGPT or Perplexity to recommend an employment lawyer in the area, the firm appears in the answer. Inquiries come in through the site from potential clients who found them through search.
